Sea-Life Embroidery Workshop

Join us for a beginner embroidery workshop where you can create your own embroidered drawstring bag, tote bag, or hoop design. This is one of the most exciting Bristol workshops focused on hand embroidery, perfect for those new to the craft!


Suitable for ages 18+. Under-18s are welcome when attending with a parent or guardian.

Everything you need is provided — no need to bring anything! You will receive a beautiful embroidery kit to keep, which includes:

• embroidery threads

• fabric and tools

• a step-by-step guide booklet

• personal guidance throughout the workshop

You can even choose from additional colours to personalise your design. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments are also included.

This workshop is designed to be friendly, relaxing, and creative — whether you're picking up a needle for the first time or are already familiar with embroidery techniques. You'll learn a variety of basic embroidery stitches while creating your unique piece to take home. Just bring yourself and your smile — I'll take care of the rest.

If you need to cancel your booking, I can offer a full refund for cancellations made before 29 June 2026. For cancellations after this date, you will still receive the full embroidery kit by post, along with video support to help you complete the project at home.

I would love to welcome you to my Blooming Tree with Bees hand embroidery workshop, perfect for those interested in beginner embroidery as well as seasoned enthusiasts.


During this relaxed and creative session, we will explore various embroidery techniques while stitching a beautiful design featuring a blooming tree, wildflowers, and buzzing bees. This project is suitable for everyone, whether you’re new to embroidery or already enjoy creative workshops.


To suit your time and experience level, you can choose from several versions of the design:


- Full design on a tote bag (the project will be finished at home)

- Full design in an embroidery hoop (to finish at home)

- Wildflowers with a bee (smaller design, likely to finish during the workshop)

- Tree with bees (medium design)

Join a calming, creative embroidery workshop in Bristol on 21st February 2026, where you'll learn beginner embroidery techniques to stitch a beautiful spring flower hair crown design onto a cotton tote bag. 


Perfect for those new to the craft — no experience needed. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with new skills and something lovely made by your own hands! 🌸🧵 After the session, you’ll be able to add floral hand embroidery to your clothes, bags, or even surprise someone with a special handmade gift.

I’m thrilled to invite you to my hand embroidery workshop on 17 January, taking place from 10am to 2pm at Ashton Park Sports Centre (E Block). This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in beginner embroidery, as it focuses on slowing down, enjoying the creative process, and spending a few mindful hours stitching by hand in a relaxed and welcoming environment.


What will we be making?


When booking, you’ll choose in advance whether you’d like to create:


an embroidered cushion cover, or


a hoop design


This helps me prepare all the materials especially for you, so everything is ready when you arrive.


The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some embroidery experience. I’ll guide you step by step throughout the session, teaching various embroidery techniques, and you’ll also receive a printed guide to take home.

In this fast-paced world, hand embroidery teaches you to slow down, be present, and enjoy the joy of creating something with your own hands. Through my beginner embroidery workshops in Bristol, I’d love to share not only the embroidery techniques but also the peace and satisfaction it brings. 


With carefully designed hand embroidery patterns and all materials prepared for you, I look forward to welcoming everyone who’s curious about hand embroidery. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply seeking a calming creative escape, you’ll find a warm and friendly space here. 


Each creative workshop lasts 4–5 hours, with a maximum of 12 participants per session. All supplies are included, and if you don’t finish your piece during the workshop, you’ll receive access to a step-by-step video tutorial to help you continue at home.
