I'm Kata, born and raised in Hungary.
I inherited my love of hand embroidery and folk art heritage from my mum and grandmother. I have always been fascinated by the wonderful colors, hand embroidery patterns, needle and needle painting.
I went to teacher training college in Hungary because teaching and loving children was my dream. But, made a big decision, in 2013 I moved to Bristol with my husband and my then one and a half year old son. While working I gained a Level 4 teaching diploma, which I am very proud of.
However, I found myself immersed in the world of embroidery, I want to bring a joy to people's lives with my hand embroidered products and I want to pass on my knowledge and creativity to children and adults alike through my workshops.
Hope to see you soon!
